Bryant appointed to FEMA Review Council by President Trump

BSS Global partner Phil Bryant has been appointed to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Review Council by President Donald Trump.
The FEMA Review Council is a bipartisan group tasked with reforming and streamlining the nation’s emergency management and disaster response system.
“I was incredibly honored to be included by President Donald Trump in the rank of leaders selected to review and reform the nation’s emergency management and disaster response system,” said Bryant. “As we have seen from President Trump’s first 100 days in his current term, he’s not afraid to shake things up and find better paths forward to our nation’s challenges. I’m eager to work with each member of the panel to do just that.”
President Trump established the Council on January 24, 2025, through Executive Order 14180, Council to Assess the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

- Kevin Guthrie, Executive Director, Florida Division of Emergency Management
- Nim Kidd, Chief, Texas Division of Emergency Management
- Michael Whatley, Chairman, Republican National Committee

Trump wrote on social media that those named to the Council are “Top Experts in their fields” and “Highly Respected by their peers.”
